The Arc Jackson County is sponsoring a BOGO Power Hour tomorrow, March 6th from 10-11 am at BOTH Outsider Rogue Valley locations! The Arc is on a mission to promote and defend the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Their work is inspiring and we're so excited to partner with them on this level!

March 6th is Spread the Word for Inclusion day! So, we're honored to be going all in(clusive) with such an amazing organization to spread awareness. As a mom of 2 boys on the spectrum seeing what the Arc is doing to make a difference for this overlooked and undervalued portion of our community is powerful!

​The Arc Jackson County continues to work to Spread the Word Inclusion in our community and invites us all to do the same by getting BOGO Drinks and Treats at BOTH LOCATIONS of Outsider Rogue Valley AND taking the pledge to Spread the Word with us!

​Spread the Word is founded on an audacious belief, a simple observation, and an urgent goal.

• Their belief is that the world would be better if all people were valued, respected, embraced, and included. Included in the games we play and the friends we make. Included in our schools, our workplaces, and our communities.
• Their observation is that despite the best efforts of many, groups around the world remain left out. One of these groups is people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, a group made of more than 200 million people, representing every country, belief system, sexual orientation, gender expression, race, and ethnicity.
• Their goal is to disrupt this cycle of isolation and exclusion with grassroots action for inclusion.

You can take action today to make your school, your workplace, your community, and your world more inclusive. Seek out someone who has been left out, isolated, or bullied. Sit with them. Welcome them. Be a friend. Be a teammate. The actions that you take for inclusion are unique to you, but they contribute to a shared global goal. Our individual actions can combine to create a new and inclusive world.
